Rawalpindi is the older, denser half of the twin cities, and its evenings are spent on Murree Road, at Faizabad and on the Metro Bus getting children to and from tuition. Bahria Town’s phases sit a long way from Saddar, and Islamabad’s academies are further still. Scoodemy Virtual Academy runs the same live classes for everyone: a teacher on video, a small section, and a fixed fee for the plan, joined from home.
Pindi students mostly sit BISE Rawalpindi for Matric and FSc, with a Cambridge stream at Beaconhouse, Roots and the Army Public Schools. What sets the city apart is the number of military families and the exams that come with them — cadet college entrance in Grade 7 and 8, the Army Public School and Fauji Foundation tests, and later ISSB, PMA and NUST. Our Academic School follows the Rawalpindi board, and the Competitive Exams school runs sections for those specific routes alongside MDCAT and ECAT.
