Cookie Policy

Last updated 7 September 2026

The cookies and local storage the site uses, which are strictly necessary, and how to manage them.

This Cookie Policy explains how Scoodemy uses cookies and similar technologies on scoodemy.com.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember you between pages and visits. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels; this policy covers them too.

Cookies we use

Strictly necessary. These make the Platform work and cannot be turned off.

  • scoodemy_session keeps you signed in and remembers your place in a flow such as checkout.
  • XSRF-TOKEN protects forms against cross-site request forgery.
  • A remember-me cookie, set only if you tick "Remember me" when logging in.
  • Local storage entries that remember your currency, language, and scroll position between pages.

Analytics and marketing. Set only when our administrators have enabled a tracking tool such as Google Analytics or a Meta pixel. These help us understand which pages are useful and measure advertising. They are not loaded on admin pages. Where your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal we honour it for these tools.

Third-party services. Signing in with Google or connecting Google Calendar sets cookies from Google under Google's own policies. Embedded videos from YouTube, Vimeo or Loom on teacher demo pages may set cookies from those providers when played.

Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you from logging in or completing a booking. Instructions for common browsers: Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge each have a "Privacy" or "Cookies and site data" section in settings.

Changes

We will update this page when the cookies we use change, and show the date of the latest version at the top.
