• Cambridge: O Levels are sat at the end of Class 10 or 11 and A Levels after that. Exam entry fees are paid to Cambridge each session on top of school fees, and Pakistani universities accept the results with an IBCC equivalence certificate.
• Federal Board (FBISE): the national Matric and FSc syllabus, which the MDCAT and ECAT entry tests are built around, and the cheaper of the two routes.

Details are supplied by the institution or taken from its own website and checked by our team before the listing goes live. Fees change every session and are not published here — ask the campus for the admission fee, security deposit, annual charges and transport before you compare. Our guide to choosing a school in Islamabad covers what to ask on a campus visit.
